About

Okological is a curio of found objects on the web revealing the myriad of patterns and geometries in nature and art; the elegance of generative/iterative techniques; and the aesthetics of nature and natural processes that are influencing computational art and design.

This is an eclectic collection of works by artists, designers, architects and scientists demonstrating a miscellanea of approaches to the visualization of social and environmental phenomena. Much of it is experimental and innovative. Some of the projects are also noteworthy for promoting social and/or environmental change.

All of the artifacts belong to their respective creators and links to original sources are included in all posts. If a link is missing, or if there are any errors, please use the 'ask me' feature to send a note. Thanks!
